Its been a while since Ive written, but preparing for travel can be a grueling ordeal. Im at an internet cafe in Costa Rica right now and Ive got about 25 minutes until my time runs out so what the hell. Why not post? I will not be placing any apostrophes or certain symbols because these computers are kind of crazy. It took me about 15 minutes to figure out that the @ sign can be used by typing alt + 64.
So its pretty awesome here, except for the poverty thing. Eh, poverty shmoverty. This is supposed to be one of the most developed countries in central america, so Im pretty much still inside the bubble, but it works out because I fear change. The roads and sidewalks are shitty. The lanes on the road are really narrow and theres no real dividing line between the lanes, so when your are walking alongside the road cars blow right past you by inches. The weather here is great. Its about 70 to 80 degrees usually, pretty warm, although sometimes its cool and windy. The beach areas are insanely hot. I went to the beach for New Years Eve and it was about 98 degrees. It was awesome. Usually my New Years Eve outings consist of freezing my ass off meanwhile I am transported to wherever I end up going. Not here. You can also drink beer on the streets right in front of the cops, which was also a treat. I was so hot that I went swimming in the ocean at 1am and the water was warm. It was awesome. Except for the part where my shit got stolen because I left it on the shore while I went swimming. That wasnt so awesome.
Anyhow, my time is almost up. I will post later with a synapsis on how this traveling experience changed my life and whatnot, which Im sure it will.

It sounds like your having a good time. You must be, otherwise I would have thought you a little paranoid to have allowed your stuff to be stolen.
I'm pretty jealous, though. It's been minus 30 for the past few weeks (celcius) here: cold. cold cold cold.
Aren't you back yet? It's next semester already!
UPDATE!!! How was it?!
