Last week I was walking to class and I noticed a "Kerry/Edwards 2004" campaign sticker still up. Except it was posted on a trash can. I smirked to myself and thought, how so very appropriate and representative of this country's future.
Its funny because the Kerry/Edwards sticker also says, "A stronger America", which I failed to mention. I don't think America really needs to be any stronger, seeing that we have a GDP 2 times higher than the second highest GDP and higher than the 3,4 and 5 highest GDPs combined. Good 'ol Econ 320. Anyhow, back to my point, which is, the hopes that we had for "a stronger America", by electing someone other than george dubya, is down the shitter. because we didn't elect someone other than george dubya. And that hope for change, that we could've had with Kerry, is in the trash, just like his stupid sticker.

Somehow, I think that the US would be the world's only superpower no matter who is holding office (good 'ol ECON 441).
